Christmas celebrations for Sierra Leone community

The Sierra Leone Community Association, under the leadership of President Monty Domingo, hosted its annual Christmas party at the Margaret Rywark Community Centre on Knoxdale Road. Santa Claus was there with presents for the children and a good time was had by all. A special feature of this year’s event was “Sierra Leone 101”, an orientation  session for the Canadian-born children, on the country’s history, culture and traditions.
