The Canadian Association of Black Lawyers is delighted to announce that the partners of Bennett Jones have elected Dominique Hussey as the next Chief Executive Officer of the firm. Dominique will assume her new role on January 1, 2024 and succeed Hugh MacKinnon KC, who has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the firm since 2005.
Dominique has played a pivotal role in the firm’s leadership for well over a decade. She has led the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation group since 2011 and serves as co-head of the Innovation, Technology, and Branding group. In 2017, she joined the firm’s Partnership Board. She became Lead Director the following year and in 2020, she was appointed Vice Chair and Toronto Managing Partner.
