On November, 14, 2013, the hardest-working African choir in Ottawa were once again in action at CTV Ottawa Studios as the featured entertainment for the The HERA Mission of Canada’s 3rd Annual Fundraiser. This colourful event organized by Wendy Muckle and Peggy Taillon raises funds to support HERA Mission projects in Western Kenya. Among the speakers were Julie Hakim from Tumaini Children’s Project (another Kenya-focused initiative), and CTV anchor Kimothy Walker. Besides enjoying a variety of Kenyan delights, wine, cheese and sweets, guests could purchase beautiful arts, crafts, fabric and jewelry from the Kenyan Market Place and bid on a variety of specialty items.
