Last September, Hervé Ngamby was nominated as the Ontario NDP candidate for Ottawa-Vanier.  It was the largest candidates’ nomination meeting held in the riding for years. Hervé had worked hard to bring in new members and generate excitement about his candidacy.  Hervé wants to work with provincial NDP leader Andrea Horwath to make Ottawa-Vanier an NDP riding.  Hervé is a mechanical engineer specialized in sustainable development and holds a degree in mathematics. He has conducted ISO performance audits of environmental, health, and safety standards, including greenhouse gas emissions, for numerous organizations. Hervé emigrated to Canada from Cameroon more than 20 years ago. He and his family have lived in Ottawa-Vanier for the last ten years. Hervé  is married to Dr. Nancy St.-Pierre, a professor of medicine at the University of Ottawa, and a doctor at Montfort Hospital. They are the parents of two little girls, three-year-old Adele and infant Rosine Chloé.
