Suffragan Bishop Edgar Wilson
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Suffragan Bishop Edgar C. WILSON who went home to the Lord, on December 29th, 2020. Edgar was born September 11, 1937 in Kingston Jamaica to Martha and Theodore Wilson. Leaving to mourn with treasured memories is the love of his life, Nola May, his 2 sons, Richard Wilson (Toronto, Canada), Paul Wilson (Ottawa, Canada); his 3 daughters, Karen Bryan, Sharon Gordon and Faith Thompson (Toronto, Canada). Edgar will be dearly missed by his many grandchildren, Shannon-Ashley , Amanda-May , Kayla-Renee , Murlik, Devonte, Britney, BreAnne, Braelynne, Bethanai, Cassia, Aurea, Rachel, Christina, and Sean. In addition, countless nieces and nephews, other family, friends and his church community.
Dad, the oldest of two boys was happiest when surrounded by his children, music, good food and most of all his loving wife, Nola. Edgar loved to travel, especially across Canada and in addition was very content when enjoying family holiday dinners where stories and memories are made.
Bishop Edgar WILSON was a devout leader, who loved the lord with all his heart and soul . From a very young age, Edgar embraced the Word of God by studying, reading, sharing and teaching to all who would listen. Constantly expounding the Word through Sunday messages and weekday bible teachings . We are truly thankful to all the medical staff at the Barrhaven Manor Retirement home who showed immense love and care to our beloved father and our family. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
