To the world, she was a bright light, but to us, she was everything.
Strong and courageous, she faced each day with an unshakable spirit, never backing down from the challenges life presented her. She stood tall in the face of adversity, always with a smile that could turn the darkest moments into hope.
She was outgoing, full of laughter and energy, always the first to step into a room and fill it with JOY. Whether among friends, family, or strangers, she had a way of making everyone feel welcome and important.
As a daughter, she gave so much love and care, and as a sister, she shared her heart generously. She was loved deeply by her parents, brothers, sisters, nephews, and friends. Her love for us was boundless, and in return, she was surrounded by a circle of people who adored her.
Her intelligence was not only in her mind but also in her heart. She knew how to be wise in her decisions, how to love with all her being, and how to see the beauty in the smallest things.
She lived her life fully—without hesitation or fear—pouring herself into the people she loved and the passions she followed. Her absence leaves an emptiness that can never be filled, but her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cosmo and Lucille; her siblings, Delroy (Sandra) and Cosmo Jr. (Jeaneen); and her nephews, Alexander, Anthony and Connor
We love you Joy. You are forever cherished, and your light will never dim in our memories.
