A small crowd of about thirty people were at the Jean Piggott hall of the city of Ottawa to participate in a celebratory Jamaican Fun Day. Organised by the Jamaica (Ottawa ) Community Association, it featured table games, a pop corn stand several vendors including World Remit. Highlight of the day was an aerobic dance session led by fitness guru Tarrah Mauricette, which attracted some fifteen women and girls, but sadly no men were interested in joining.
