Meiz Majdoub is a certified financial adviser with over 38 years experience counselling people of various ages and backgrounds on how to get the best of their money. On Wednesday 15 October, he was keynote speaker at the YMCA-YWCA on Argyle Street to share his experience with seniors and older adults approaching retirement. Funded in part by the Government of Canada New Horizons for Seniors program, the seminar was organised by Black History Ottawa, a registered Canadian charitable organisation with a mandate to promote and sustain the contribution of people of African descent within the Canadian mosaic. Meiz’s extensive presentation covered diverse financial tools such as segregated funds, mutual funds, Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSP’s)  and Registered Retirement Income Funds (RRIF’s).
