Ottawa Catholic School Board hosts Black student forum

The Ottawa Catholic School Board hosted the 2023 Black student forum at the Notre Dame High School on Broadview Avenue, with over 150 students from the Board’s high school Black Student Associations in attendance. This year’s theme, “Black Power Unites. Our Identity Ignites,” celebrated the students shared racial background while honouring the diverse cultures, nationalities, and upbringings that make each of them unique. It was an unforgettable experience of unity, diversity, and empowerment.
