Join Ken Noel, President, Walnut Foundation, Anthony Henry, First Vice-President, and Winston Klass, Director of the Prostate Cancer Support Group as they address our community to dispel the myths surrounding men’s health and end the cycle of silence about Prostate cancer.
The second half will wake your taste buds as Julie Griffith leads an interactive demonstration on Healthy Eating on the Go!
The Promoting Healthy Lifestyles Committee was initiated by the National Institute of Jamaican Canadians 15 years ago, bringing together a coalition of African Caribbean & Canadian Associations in the National Capital Region to raise awareness about health issues that affect people in the Black community at disproportionate levels.
