Since I won’t be in town for Rev. Dr. Anthony Bailey‘s last sermon before his retirement, I thought I’d head to Parkdale United yesterday morning….and boy, am I ever glad I did!! Not only did we get to hear riveting reflections about the importance of humility and “ubuntu” in Rev. Bailey’s sermon, we also enjoyed a full-on gospel worship session courtesy of Montreal’s Imani Gospel Choir!! Thank you, Rev. Bailey, for your leadership, pastoral care and your inspiring community service all these years! Congratulations on your remarkable tenure at Parkdale and sincere best wishes as you embark on a new chapter!
