Hosted by Peggy Taillon and Wendy Muckle, “Touch Down for HERA Mission” was held on October 15th at the TD Place stadium. This evening dedicated to African culture and game-changing strategies being undertaken by Canadian NGOs HERA Mission and Tumaini Children’s Project in Asembo Bay, Kenya, featured a wide array of colourful silent auction items, live music, a delicious buffet, and special appearances by Ottawa RedBlacks Quarter Back Henry Burris and former CTV News anchor Kimothy Walker.
