Good day everyone,

It is with great pleasure that we are sharing part 1 and 2 of the conference entitled ” Sickle Cell Disease in Canada: Challenges and Solutions to Community Needs” which took place at the University of Ottawa on Monday June 19, 2023. This event was organized by the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Canada (SCDAC) and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Black Health (ICBH), at the University of Ottawa, in the framework of the world sickle cell awareness day. The main objective of this event was to provide a platform for patients, clinicians, community leaders and researchers to share their findings, ideas, and views, and raise awareness on sickle cell disease research in Canada.
