Netflix’s Young, Famous, and African
The show is aimed at showcasing some of Africa’s most influential personalities in the fashion and entertainment industry from different countries in Africa. They have varying nationalities including South Africa, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, and others. They are actors, actresses, stylists, entrepreneurs, musicians, DJs, and presenters. The show follows their journey together as they gather in Johannesburg. They create relationships and friendships as they share opinions and history while each person shows bits of themselves. Most of the cast members throw parties with a theme and dress code which allows for a more interesting experience and bonding opportunities. They also visit different locations and have special moments like a vow renewal. It is an interesting watch and opportunity to exhibit African personalities in different spaces.
