Ottawa’s affable and hard-working MPP for Ottawa Centre and Minister of community Safety Yasir Naqvi launched his campaign for re-election at the June 12 provincial election. Surrounded by over a hundred supporters and volunteers, Yasir outlined his governments achievements over the last session of provincial parliament, with major investments in education, energy renewal, health and social services. In attendance was his mentor former cabinet minister and MPP Richard Patten.
