Every summer, the National Capital Region comes alive with exciting cultural activities and Festival Kafé-Karamel is one of them. 2014 was the second edition of this free urban outdoor party that features dance performances, dance workshops, percussion workshops, live musical performances and more. On July 25, 2014 crowds of families and friends gathered on Laval Street in Gatineau to enjoy performances of Sacred Drums of Burundi by Loyal Kigabiro, an Afro-Cuban dance workshop with Fannia and Salsa Loca, as well as a captivating dance performance by Afro-Peruvian dance troupe Contigo Peru.
