Under the theme; ‘Our Canadian Story: “Our Over-comers. Our Legacy”, members of the Ottawa Church of God commemorated the 2015 Black History Month with a celebration marked with prayers, songs, dance and presentations. The program featured Black History minutes by Charina Betty, Worship dance by Theresa Marie, Healthy lifestyles presentation by Greg Killough, Flag presentation by Samuel Nkanza, Elder abuse presentation by Joanne Robinson, Fraud Awareness by Sgt. Dominic Multari of the Ottawa Police Service, Nigerian dance by Sister Blessings and tributes and special awards to the seniors by Ruth-Joy Manu.
